2. Warsaw near Pruszków

This is what Warsaw looks like from a 10th floor window in one of the buildings in Pruszków. It is only 18 km from the centre of the capital city.

3. Getting here

Pruszków's location in the vicinity of road and rail hubs makes getting to our town easy and provides good connections to Warsaw by the road Aleje Jerozolimskie (4 traffic lanes, a traffic flow of about 40,000 vehicles a day).
In Pruszków there is one of Poland's biggest railway container terminals. During peak hours the trains of the railway passenger transport (PKP Koleje Mazowieckie, Mazovian Railways ) run every 10 minutes. Since 1 st July 2006 the trains of SKM (Szybka Kolej Miejska; Fast Urban Railway) run between Warsaw Rembertów and Pruszków. Moreover, you can reach Warsaw by bus or by WKD (Warszawska Kolej Dojazdowa, Warsaw Local Train).
Five kilometres north of Pruszków there is a Warsaw-Poznań-Berlin road and 7 km south of the town there is a Warsaw-Katowice and Warsaw-Cracow road. The journey by car from Pruszków to Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport takes about 30-40 minutes.
The A2 motorway Warsaw-Berlin which is planned to be commissioned in 2010 will run through the northern districts of Pruszków. The last exit before Warsaw is planned to be in Pruszków. The Pruszków-Warsaw stretch of the motorway will be free of charge!

Travel times from Warsaw to Pruszków:

According to the decision of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Board in terms of the Regional Operational Programme of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for the years 2007-2013, the following investments will be carried out:

1. "The construction of the stretch of the so-called Paszkowianka road, the new road connection on the western side of Warsaw, from the voivodeship road no. 719 to the A2 interchange" - that is the construction of a new road connection to the west of Pruszków, which will link the Warsaw-Grodzisk road at Helenówek with the A2 interchange in Pruszków by the streets Żbikowska and 3 Maja.

2. "The modification of the voivodeship Warsaw-Kamion road no. 719". This investment involves extending a road stretch in Pruszków from the street Partyzantów to Bohaterów Warszawy to a 2x2 road (a dual carriageway with 2 lanes in each direction) and the extension of the Warsaw-Pruszków stretch to a 2x3 road (a dual carriageway with 3 lanes in each direction).
